Utica is another major city in New York State located less than a 30-minute drive from our community! The city offers a wealth of career opportunities as well as plenty of great activities for when you are looking for a fun day away from home. 

The city also boasts a rich history that you can experience firsthand. The Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute offers a look at both American art and ceramics from around the world. The Stanley Theater is a restored movie palace that now hosts performances by national touring acts. Utica is also home to several museums, including the Children’s Museum of History, Natural History & Science, and the Oneida County Historical Society. 

Utica’s downtown is one of the best in the Empire State -boasting great restaurants and home to the famous Utica Zoo! There are also plenty of cultural events, sports, performances, and shops to enjoy while you are visiting. There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor recreation, with parks like Proctor Park and Fort Stanwix National Monument.
